Why isn't Roamcalm an AI Itinerary Planner?

AI itinerary generators can quickly suggest places to visit, but they often lack the personal touch that makes travel truly memorable. We did not want to build an app that sends your request to ChatGPT and returns a list of cards with some random places to visit. That wasn't the problem we set out to solve.

Finding a list of attractions is as simple as a Google search, but practical travel tools like shared itineraries, offline document access, and expense splitting among friends are typically scattered across different apps. Roamcalm is an app that brings all these essentials together in one place, eliminating the need for cluttered spreadsheets, multiple Google Drive folders, and separate expense-splitting apps.

We do know some travel apps already have some of these features, but the reason we wanted to make our own is simple: most travel planners are either hard to use or keep trying to sell you extra stuff. We just wanted an app that looks great and works well, without all the hassle.

With Roamcalm, one person can upload all the necessary travel documents, and everyone in the group can access them during the trip, ensuring a seamless and organized experience. Roamcalm is meant to complement your travel planning and enhance your travel experience, not overshadow it.
